HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR TREATMENTS
Look and Feel Your Personal Best
Consultation: Schedule a consultation with us to discuss your goals, assess your skin type, and determine the most suitable laser treatment for your needs.
Sun Protection: Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for at least a few weeks before your laser session. Sunburned or tanned skin can increase the risk of complications.
If you have a tan or artificial tan you cannot be treated until it has gone.
Skincare: Follow any pre-treatment skincare recommendations, which may include avoiding certain products and always use an SPF50
Medications: Inform us about any medications you are taking, as certain medications may interfere with the laser treatment or increase the risk of adverse effects.
Shaving: For hair removal treatments, shave the area to be treated 24 hours before your laser session. Avoid waxing or plucking, as the laser targets the hair follicle, and these methods remove the hair root.
Makeup Removal: If the treatment area involves facial skin, remove all makeup and skincare products before your session. This ensures a clean surface for the laser to target.
Hydration: Keep your skin well-hydrated in the days leading up to the treatment. Moisturized skin can recover more effectively from laser procedures.
Comfortable Clothing: Wear loose, comfortable clothing on the day of your treatment to make it easier for the practitioner to access the treatment area.
Remember to follow any specific instructions provided, as individual requirements may vary based on the type of laser treatment and your skin condition.
